At Allegheny Roots Tree Farm, we sell live plants, not packaged food grade or pharmaceutical products. All information on our website is intended strictly for botanical, educational, and historical purposes only. Any culinary, medicinal, or herbal uses have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The information is not to be used as dietary or medical advice. Please consult your physician before using any plant for uses other botanical enjoyment. It is also best practice to be 100% certain of plant identification before using the plant in any way. Some plants (even historically edible and consumable ones) contain plant parts that can be toxic or cause adverse reactions. 

Terms of Sale

By purchasing, handling, or planting any live stock, seeds, or plant products from Allegheny Roots Tree Farm LLC (Allegheny Roots), you acknowledge that plants are natural biological organisms containing complex chemical compounds. Allegheny Roots makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the suitability, safety, edibility, or efficacy of any plant for human or animal consumption, medicinal use, or topical application.

You, the customer, assume full, sole responsibility for:

Proper Plant Identification: Verifying the precise species, variety, and parts of the plant before handling, harvesting, or consuming.

Allergies & Sensitivities: Identifying any personal or animal sensitivities, food allergies, or adverse reactions. Plants may trigger mild to severe allergic reactions, contact dermatitis, or food intolerance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with the purchase, propagation, handling, ingestion, or application of any plant or botanical product sold by Allegheny Roots.
